Coy Koi is an elegant hard shelled minaudiére stitched on 24ct. Black Congress Cloth.  The front of the purse depicts a beautiful Koi fish swimming amongst the cherry blossoms floating on the water.  The back of the purse depicts a Sashiko (Japanese quilting) inspired design stitched in delicate metallic threads.  This design is stitched in a combination of Silks, Kreinik Metallics, Sequins, Beads and Ribbon Floss.  Instruction will also include creating a beaded handle that can be attached to the purse. 

Available in a choice of two colors, the kit includes two canvases, the hard shell purse form, instructions for self-finishing, Silk and metallic threads, sequins, seed beads, complete instructions, and photos.  The completed purse is approximately 7” by 4”.  The student will need to supply 2 sets of 12” x 9” stretcher bars as well as light, magnification, and the usual stitching tools.
